This is a bug fix release. The following issues are addressed:

• High CPU usage while using MailBrowser with large inboxes.
• MailBrowser did not run on Windows machines with usernames containing non-Latin characters.

Hi,

This is a bug fix release. For some users MailBrowser stopped indexing abruptly. Although indexing issues have been fixed in previous releases this fix relates to a different bug.

Hi,

This is a bug fix release.

• MailBrowser stopped indexing for some users due to a bug in the database component that it uses. With this release the issue has been addressed.
• For some users (including me) the unread mails were being marked as read. I noticed it yesterday, but didn’t doubt on MailBrowser till our users started noise on Twitter. Thanks to Pooja for her tip. Gmail had changed the way IMAP clients should access mails & reverted it back as most of the clients were not ready. It seems that they have reintroduced the change again, though I don’t have any proof for this other than Gmail’s comment while reverting the change that they may reintroduce it in future. We have changed the way MailBrowser access mails & the issue is fixed.

Hi,

This release opens up MailBrowser to all those users who couldn’t take full advantage of MailBrowser features because of being behind proxy. MailBrowser now supports HTTPS & SOCKS5. It can also automatically detect proxy settings from the host system.

Hi,

This is a bug fix release.

• With the last release we introduced an option to stop downloading attachments. Check of that option also stopped syncing of mails. Now this bug is fixed.

Some enhancements:

• ‘Do not download attachments option’ made more visibile.
• Removed search box while viewing a single contact to make room for other details.

Hi,

The following features have been added with this release:

• Many users have bulky inboxes with large attachments & want to harness only the power of Contacts feature without flooding their hard-disks. This release comes with a feature to index mails without downloading the attachments.
• Also included is the option to mention the number of Contacts or Files to be displayed in a page.
